I’m supposed to be working on a deadline, right? Laptop open, coffee getting cold, and refreshing Instagram like a fucking idiot watching people flex their vacations and their “hustle” that looks suspiciously like their parents’ money. And I’m sitting there feeling like shit about myself for not being further along. Then this track comes on and suddenly I’m not scrolling anymore because Strascha just said what I’ve been feeling for months: theres so much noise / all i need is you and i / in a room / locked up / no tune / no ice / helps me drown out the noise. Like yes, holy shit, that’s exactly it. I don’t need another motivational quote or another person telling me to “stay on my grind,” I need to shut out every fucking distraction and focus on what actually matters.
Strascha grew up split between the U.S. and Bulgaria and never fully landed in either world. She absorbed all this Western music—Charli XCX, the club reinvention happening in pop—while stuck in a small European country where the path to actually making it is basically nonexistent. No family in the business. Just her, grinding at whatever job keeps the lights on, building this thing alone. And you can hear the frustration. She’s channeling all that chaotic energy—sex, the hustle, money culture making you feel like you’re never enough—into a cunty club banger that gets your body moving when your brain wants to spiral.
Theres so much noise / think i gotta get this choice right—she repeats this three times like she’s casting a spell. Every decision feels weighted when you’re building from nothing. Do I take this gig or hold out for something better? Do I spend money on promotion or save it? Do I trust this person or are they just using me for clout? The noise is constant and exhausting as hell.
Bet I’m gotta find the stage light. You’re searching for your moment, your spotlight, your validation that all this work means something. And all the while, helps me drown out the noise becomes the refrain you need, the reminder that you have to tune out everything else to stay focused.

Listen, I have THOUGHTS about these verses because they go hard as fuck. So much talk, chit chat / no one ever does shit / all they do is double spit. That’s every person who performs ambition but never executes. The people at the party talking about their “projects” that never materialize. The ones who love the aesthetic of being creative but won’t put in the actual fucking work.
Jesus on the wheel / taking orders, meals / everythings a deal / who the fuck is real. This part destroys me every single time. She’s working some service job—probably taking orders, serving meals to people who don’t see her as human—and watching how everything has become transactional. Money, sex, relationships, creativity. It’s all a deal now. And in the middle of this capitalist hellscape she’s asking the question that keeps you up at night: who is actually real? Who isn’t performing? Who actually means what they say?
The aggression ramps up and she’s not apologizing for it. Cash cow, bitch you better get that cash now / cash cow, bitch you better get that cash out. This is her taking the pressure society puts on young people—monetize everything, hustle constantly, your worth is your bank account—and throwing it back in our faces. She repeats it because that’s how it feels in your brain. The same message over and over until you either internalize it or learn to use it as fuel.
And then she exposes the whole system. No work gets done—despite all the hustling and performing, nothing real is actually being created. Money on the table, money and a label / fund account’s a fable / flying fickle fatal. Goddamn, she’s calling out how the promises evaporate, how the money is never quite there, how the instability of funding everything yourself while watching industry plants get handed opportunities is slowly killing you. She emphasizes it again: no account is stable, no account is stable. Nothing is stable when you’re building from the ground up.
I’m obsessed with the bridge because this is where she goes for the throat. She admits what most artists won’t say out loud: money makes the world go round, in standing / money moves the world, im not creating. When you’re worried about rent, groceries and whether you can afford to promote your next single you’re not making the art you want to make you’re making the art you can afford.
And then she mocks the whole fucking system. Silly little dollar / silly little price / silly little private jet / and silly little life. The way we worship wealth and confuse money with success. The silly little markers we chase that don’t actually mean shit about who we are or what we create.
The final gut punch comes when she tells us straight up: the art i crave to make is behind a paywall / so the art you get is all that i care to pay for. This is the most honest admission on the entire track. She’s not pretending. She’s giving you what she can afford to create right now, not what she’s actually capable of. It’s bitter and raw and the truth for every independent artist grinding without resources.

Charli XCX, COBRAH, Ashnikko, and Kim Petras are her influences and you hear it. She’s part of the movement of artists reinventing club culture, taking the frustration and chaos of being young and broke and ambitious and turning it into bratty, bitchy energy. The production mixes rap, dance pop, and house into something that’s loud and sexy and defiant as fuck.
This track is cunty in the best possible way. It’s giving main character energy for anyone who’s tired of distractions, tired of performing, tired of letting the world’s bullshit derail what they’re trying to build. It’s the soundtrack to closing your laptop, putting your phone on Do Not Disturb, and actually doing the damn work.
So I’ve had this on repeat for 72 hours and here’s what I know: Strascha isn’t selling you inspiration porn. She’s still in the messy fucking middle. Ambitious and frustrated and exhausted, building from nothing while everyone around her either performs success or gets handed shit she’ll never see.
This is for everyone who’s sick of the noise. Sick of the flex culture. Sick of watching people with resources pretend they’re self-made. Sick of every distraction trying to pull your focus away from your actual goals. Add this to your workout playlist, your deep work playlist, your fuck-everyone-I’m-busy playlist.
Stream this and block out the world. That’s the assignment, and Strascha just gave you the soundtrack to actually do it.
