There comes a point in every girl’s life when the success finally matches the fucking swagger if she commits and does the work. When the bank account has enough zeros that the number is actually funny, and you walk into a room and the energy shifts before you’ve opened your mouth, because you built something real and everyone in there can feel it. Everything starts coming easy at that point. Men and money. She comes easy too, by the way. That’s what confidence does. Draw your own conclusions. I know that feeling. I’m in it. Sitting across from some guy at dinner who is visibly more impressed with me than I am with him, watching him fumble through small talk while I’m mentally three moves ahead, thinking ‘oh so this is what it feels like.’ It feels like the best sex of your life except you’re fully clothed and ordering the most expensive thing on the menu. MIZZI wrote the song for that feeling. It’s called ‘MONEY,’ and I haven’t taken it off repeat since.
The production drops right into your body. Synth-forward electro-pop with enough bounce to get your ass moving and enough edge to make clear this is the big leagues. Clean as hell. MIZZI moves through it like she owns the deed to the place, which at this point in her career she basically does.
She opens with “Boss bitch baddie / Call me that sugar daddy / I see them lookin at me” and you have to sit with that. She walked in, clocked who’s watching, and named herself before anyone else could get to it. Sugar daddy energy with all of the control and none of the dependency. She funds herself. The audacity of that line is so damn earned coming from her.

Then she does something that made me put down my drink: “Checkin out my assets / What you want / Isn’t it fantastic / What I got / Heels to my eyelashes / Looking hot.” The double meaning here is doing serious heavy lifting. Yes, she looks incredible and the whole room knows it. She’s also a multi-platinum producing CEO with a catalog that generates royalties in her sleep. All of it qualifies. The way she moves through both without breaking stride is the kind of shit that takes years to pull off with any real conviction. A woman at that level’s got that filthy kind of confidence that makes people stare whether they want to or not. When she leans across a table she knows what she’s doing will fuck him up and she milks the hell out of it every single time.
The money talk in this track is completely unapologetic. “I like my diamonds in gold / I like my hunnids in rows / Stack it up let’s go” and she doesn’t pause to see if you can keep up. Women who have to perform wealth are usually faking it. MIZZI states hers the way you’d rattle off a coffee order. Specific. She doesn’t care if you can afford to relate.
The chorus is where your hips make a decision your brain didn’t sign off on. “That’s money / Come get that from me / Like mmm yea honey / I got that mmm yea” and “come get that from me” is doing absolutely nasty shit in this song. She means the money and the money is not the only thing she’s offering. The whole exchange feels like dirty eye contact across a room, the kind that spells out what’s on the table and what kind of trouble he’s signing up for if he’s a good little boy and learns his place. I ran it back four times in my car and nearly missed my exit.
And then: “I do everything to the maximum / To the maximum / I sign my name all capital / I’m a CEO that’s OTT / Gimme that money by EOD.” All caps. By end of day. She assigns herself a title and a deadline because waiting around is for people with less going on. I’ve never felt so goddamn compelled to fire off an invoice in my fucking life.

MIZZI is the kind of woman who’s been running the music industry from behind the scenes for years while you weren’t paying attention, and honestly that’s your loss. The Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and producer is a certified multi-platinum force with credits that would make your jaw drop into your lap, having co-written JoJo Siwa’s double platinum “Boomerang” and Selena Gomez’s “B.E.A.T.” while also lending her pen and her ear to the catalogs of Jason Derulo and Kelly Clarkson, with sync placements on Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, and Disney because apparently she’s fucking everywhere. She’s a Berklee College of Music graduate who built her own company from the ground up and runs it with the kind of bad bitch boss girl energy that makes other people in the room quietly reassess their life choices. As MIZZI, she steps out from behind the curtain and into her own electro commercial pop universe, all high-voltage attitude and the kind of confidence that only comes from knowing you’ve already been the smartest, most dangerous woman in every room you’ve ever walked into.
That guy from dinner texted three weeks later. I was mid-signature on something that paid better, so I left him on read. That is the energy MIZZI is selling on ‘MONEY,’ and I want every girl to get there. The version of you who knows what her time costs and makes every room feel it the second you walk in. MIZZI built her whole career at that voltage before she ever made it look this easy, and ‘MONEY’ is what it sounds like when that girl finally gets to talk.
