Kasper Nova & ParHasard Turn Up the Juice on Pineapple Funk

I have to admit—when I saw the title Pineapple Funk, I went into party mode, but not just for any soiree. I’m talking about those bougie-ass suburbs where someone leaves a pineapple next to the mailbox, and suddenly, you’re wondering which house is hosting the swingers. I’m not saying I’ve ever been to one. But that title felt like immediate filth and funk. And I was in.

Kasper Nova and ParHasard knew what they were doing. This track isn’t just fruity—it’s juicy, wet, and damn near dripping with confidence. Pineapple Funk is their first collab, and it goes down like a tropical cocktail you weren’t ready for but end up sipping ‘til you’re naked with two guys in a stranger’s pool.

From the beginning—“Cruise with me to the freshest taste of the West Atlantic”—they set the vibe. We’re on some yacht, hips loose, tongue out, no bra, no problems. The second I heard that bassline, I knew I wasn’t sitting still. It’s slick, teasing, and way too confident. Just my type.

Then we get a taste of that hook. “Pineapple funk / Soothing and punchy / Pineapple funk / It’s just what you want”—tell me that’s not sex in sound form. It feels like someone looking you up and down, smirking, and saying, “you coming or what?” Loaded question.

    ParHasard

Kasper Nova brings that signature Amsterdam slick—bright hooks, tight production, and just enough wink to keep it cheeky. He’s got that Justin Timberlake polish but with way more flavor. ParHasard brings a total vibe. Their R&B-jazz-funk cocktail feels like they licked the sweat off Silk Sonic and came back with new kinks. This is what you play when you’re getting dressed to make out with someone you shouldn’t. Again.

“She rocks with a fruity side / Got the party going crazy.”—She’s the girl dancing barefoot on the rooftop, high on serotonin and probably something stronger. Then they hit you with “We might reach / Any high we want to / We might be / At the bottom of the sea”— which isn’t just poetry. That’s two bodies, soaked in saltwater and bass, doing things the neighbors definitely heard.

The production doesn’t just slap—it grooves. Every layer is engineered to make your ass move without asking for permission. And I love that for us. This is that rare track that doesn’t need a drop—because it is the drop. It’s the moment the night turns from cute to unhinged.

This isn’t background music. This is the pregame and the party. It’s a song for dancing, fucking, and laughing so hard your eyeliner runs. It’s Pineapple Funk—and it’s what you want.
