Elle Baez’s ‘Naturally’ Wears Her Roots With Confidence

Elle Baez knows what finally liking your own reflection can do to a woman. ‘Naturally’ comes from that moment when the curls stay curly, the hoops get bigger, and the parts of your body you once covered start looking pretty fucking gorgeous in the mirror. Elle calls it “the most personal song from my upcoming debut album,” explaining that embracing her Latina roots meant “finally wearing my natural curls, my Abuela’s hoops, and accepting my stretch marks and imperfections after years of hiding them.” That history gives the confidence here some real weight. She spent years hiding pieces of herself and now she wants them visible.

The production on ‘Naturally’ mixes contemporary R&B with electropop, which uses electronic production and prominent synth textures inside a pop structure. Those soaring synths give the chorus room to open while the R&B groove keeps Elle grounded inside it. Her vocal carries the song with an easy brightness that suits a woman getting comfortable enough to show some skin and enjoy the fucking view.

Elle puts the transformation right into the first verse with “Curly girl let her frizz hang loose / Headstrong more than what you’re used to.” Then the family connection becomes beautifully physical in “Wearing nothing but abuela’s hoops / Big and gold like her soul bearing naked truths / Planted like a tree she is so deep in her roots.” I love the image of those hoops against bare skin because heritage becomes something she can actually wear while she claims the body underneath them.

The chorus gives the idea its cleanest expression with “Had it from the day she was born / Now she gets to show it off naturally / Watered all the roses and thorns / Let it all grow out naturally.” “Grow it out” works especially well because it reaches straight back to those curls while carrying the rest of her with them. By the bridge, “Don’t need filler cuz she’s all filled up with love / And nobody knew the woman she’d become,” Elle has stopped measuring herself against anybody else’s fucking standard. She already has what she needs.

Elle Baez is a Dominirican singer-songwriter building pop-soul around body confidence and the experiences women rarely get to hear celebrated without somebody sanding down the messy parts. She has grown an audience of more than 100,000 followers across TikTok and Instagram, and in 2026 she entered a new chapter under the mentorship of Stargate and music executive Chris Anokute. ‘Naturally’ belongs to her upcoming debut album and brings that next era directly back to the woman underneath all the pop-star shit.

By the end of ‘Naturally’, Elle has made those curls bigger and kept the stretch marks exactly where they are. The Abuela hoops are still gleaming against her skin. There is something deeply sexy about reaching the point where showing yourself feels better than hiding ever did. Elle gets there and lets the whole damn room look.

Elle Baez's 'Naturally' lets the curls frizz and keeps Abuela's gold hoops right where they belong. Elle turns years of hiding into bright pop-R&B that feels personal as hell and damn good in its own skin.
