Cosmiq ft. Lana’s ‘Troublemaker’ Is the Soundtrack to Every Bad Decision You’re About to Make

You know that moment when you spot someone across the room and your brain goes “absolutely fucking not” while your body’s already moving toward them? When every rational thought you’ve ever had starts screaming warnings but the pull is so magnetic you’d rather get wrecked than walk away? Cosmiq and Lana just bottled that entire feeling into ‘Troublemaker’ and I’m addicted to it. This electro-pop, Latin tech house hybrid lives in that delicious, dangerous space where you stop pretending you have self-control and just admit you’re hooked.

Lana opens with “I see you there with a fire in your eyes / spinning me dizzy like tequila sunrise” and immediately we’re in that hazy, intoxicated headspace where logic has left the building. The tequila sunrise metaphor is perfect because it’s pretty, it’s sweet, and it’ll absolutely destroy your judgment. She clocks the danger – “you’re the storm I’m looking for”—and instead of running, she’s chasing it. That’s the whole vibe of this track: eyes wide open, red flags fully visible, still stepping closer.

The production here is goddamn smooth. Shimmering synths, groovy percussion, this bouncy club-ready beat that makes your hips move before your brain processes what’s happening. Lana’s vocals float over these rhythmic tech-house grooves with this effortless R&B silk that sounds expensive and feels inevitable. Cosmiq has been blending EDM, Latin House, and Afrobeats into this modern, feel-good sound that’s built for bodies moving in dark rooms where bad ideas happen.

“Oh, you got me breaking all my rules / every move of yours my undo” is when she admits it—this person unmakes her. Completely. The way she phrases “my undo” hits different because it’s ownership. She’s not blaming them she’s naming what’s happening to her body and her boundaries. Then the chorus drops: “You’re my trouble trouble troublemaker / got me lost in every move you make-a / can’t escape, no, I’m your prisoner.”

Being someone’s prisoner could sound dark, could sound trapped. Here it sounds orgasmic. Intoxicating. The kind of captivity where you’re dizzy and undone and still choosing to stay because the chemistry feels unavoidable. She’s calling herself out—I’m caught, I’m lost, I know this is trouble—while also owning the decision to be there.

The metaphors keep circling back to music and movement. “You walk like a rhythm I can’t unhear / your heartbeat’s a bassline pulling me near / every word you say’s a melody / I’m caught in your endless symphony.” The attraction isn’t just emotional or physical—it’s rhythmic. Musical. Primal. His presence has a beat her body responds to automatically. That bassline pulling her near? Yeah, we’ve all felt that magnetic pull where someone’s energy just rewires your nervous system.

“Oh, you got me dancing in your game / I’m addicted calling out your name” is the full surrender. She’s not fighting it anymore. She’s dancing in it, calling for it, leaning into the addiction instead of resisting. That’s the core of this track – the moment you stop pretending you’re in control and just let desire run everything. Impulsive, self-aware, unapologetically tangled in the thrill of someone who’s absolutely going to complicate your life.

Cosmiq’s whole deal is creating music designed to move people, blending cultures and rhythms into this modern club energy that connects bodies across packed rooms. No spotlight, just pure sound reaching you in whatever dark corner you’re making questionable decisions. ‘Troublemaker’ delivers exactly that—high-energy heat you can dance to while your judgment slowly exits the room. The production is polished, the rhythm infectious, and Lana’s vocals sell every second of that electric, inevitable pull toward someone you know damn well is trouble. Worth it.
