cjvd’s ‘Dive In’ Makes Follow-Through Filthy

I once spent three Friday nights trading filthy voice notes with a guy who kept turning actual plans into “soon.” When he finally showed up at my apartment he wasted half an hour kissing me against the kitchen counter while our Uber Eats driver waited downstairs with pad thai neither of us was going to touch. I told him he had sixty seconds to decide whether he came over to eat dinner or eat me, and the takeout spent the night sweating in the lobby. cjvd’s ‘Dive In’ understands that prolonged teasing eventually requires somebody to shut up and finish what they started. He describes the track as “my first sexually explicit R&B ballad about not wasting any more time after prolonged teasing and pining to finally come together to make love.” Stop stalling and start fucking. That is the whole horny thesis, delivered with the confidence of a man who knows anticipation stays sexy until it starts feeling like admin.

cjvd begins after the tension has been dragged out long enough to make everybody involved a little feral. “And I know you get excited when I call your name / Take your time when we′re lying face to face / Oh yeah / Take it off, turn me on, putting on a show / I know that you love me / Making love, everywhere, I’m covered in you / You.” He enjoys watching her get worked up, and that little performance turns anticipation into foreplay before anybody loses a damn thing. The final image makes sex feel consuming enough to blur where one person ends and the other begins. That mixture works on me because affection stays wrapped around the filth. He plans to fuck her thoroughly, and he wants her to feel adored while he does it.

Any remaining shyness gets fucked out of the room when he reaches the main invitation. “Baby, you don′t have to be shy / Cause we can do the things that you like / So let’s dive right in / So deep that you’re about to lose control / So let′s dive right in / Bout to be the greatest sex you′d ever know / We don’t have time to waste / Pretend we only got tonight / You can leave your panties at the door / So let′s dive right in / So baby / Let’s dive right in.” The title starts doing deliciously dirty double duty here, turning a romantic invitation into a promise of penetration deep enough to wreck her composure. He wants her to come so hard that standing up afterward becomes an ambitious little fantasy. He is talking an outrageous amount of shit about his bedroom skills, which I respect when the confidence comes this cocky. That detail at the doorway makes the whole fantasy hotter because she has already decided she will have no use for underwear once she crosses it.

Another round gives cjvd room to play with pace instead of racing toward the finish. “Keep that sexy energy tonight / Before we go another round / We can speed it up, speed it up, or go slow / And girl, I wanna let you know / I′m wrapped up in your feelings / Your loving girl, I need it / All of these sensations / I’m running out of patience.” Tempo becomes its own kink as he pushes her through one orgasm fast, then slows down until the next has her clenching around him and forgetting how to form a sentence. The emotional admission underneath gives all that heat some weight. I hear a guy who is horny and completely wrapped up in her, which is sexy as fuck when prolonged teasing has already left his patience hanging by a thread.

The bridge lets tenderness loosen its tie before the freakier shit takes over. “Make sweet love tonight / Turn up your favourite song / Wanna love you so right / Take your mind, body, and your soul / Freak me baby, don′t you stop now / Now.” He offers intimacy, then begs her to lose restraint on him. The fantasy becomes beautifully reciprocal because she gets to drive him out of his fucking mind too. By the time the chorus returns, diving in feels less like his seduction pitch and more like their shared decision to ruin the sheets. If he talks this much shit before she gets through the door, he better make sure she is too weak-kneed to find those panties on the way out.

Christopher Aguinaldo records as cjvd and has been making Toronto a little hornier since 2019, which qualifies as public service. The Filipino-Canadian singer-songwriter first showed up beside longtime friend Gordon on ‘Never Satisfied’, a trap-leaning debut that let him sing and rap while the rest of us pretended emotionally complicated men were a terrible idea. Chris Brown and Justin Bieber explain the pop polish, while Lauv probably deserves some blame for all the relationship feelings cjvd keeps turning into songs. ‘Nobody Else’ pulled him toward 1980s R&B, and ‘Heat of the Moment’ brought his first real streaming attention before the four-song ‘Always & Forever’ EP arrived in 2025. He has stayed independent through all of it, which means his first sexually explicit ballad came from his own filthy little imagination. I respect a man who takes full responsibility for that kind of horny shit.

That kitchen-counter ultimatum worked. He stayed until Sunday and ordered fresh pad thai when we finally got hungry. After that, “soon” disappeared from his vocabulary whenever I texted after midnight. Follow-through becomes the hottest part of cjvd’s ‘Dive In’, especially when a man has spent weeks advertising what he plans to do once her clothes come off. I started ordering dinner after sex.

Three weeks of filthy voice notes left dinner sweating in the lobby. cjvd's 'Dive In' turns prolonged teasing into explicit R&B for anyone who prefers two orgasms before the pad thai gets cold. That is time management I can support.
