Blu DeTiger – ‘All I Ever Want Is Everything’ Is Bass Slapping Funky Pop!

Get ready for a wild adventure because Blu DeTiger is about to take you on a thrilling ride! This singer-bassist from the vibrant city of New York has been making waves on TikTok for the past four years with her infectious bass covers of popular hits by Ariana Grande and Cardi B. Not only that, she has recently dropped her debut EP, ‘How Did We Get Here,’ and has become one of the hottest names to watch out for. Keeping up with Blu? Well, that’s a challenge worth taking, and the fun lies in the attempt!

Blu’s first full-length album, ‘All I Ever Want Is Everything,’ invites us into the whirlwind that is her life. With an air of nonchalance, she effortlessly sings, “People think I’m in love, I’ve never been dumb enough,” on the mesmerizing track ‘Latency.’ It’s almost as if the hypnotic bass and snappy drum beats struggle to capture her attention. Even on ‘Moxie,’ a funky reflection on a failed relationship that pays homage to the iconic Sly And The Family Stone, there’s no time to dwell on the past. It’s all about the catchy melodies, popping bass slaps, and wishing her ex the best.

But in Blu’s world, there’s always room for introspection. ‘Imposter Syndrome’ strips away the layers, revealing the cracks in her seemingly unstoppable image. And in ‘Sad Girl Machine,’ she lays bare her vulnerability, singing about those moments of wallowing on the bedroom floor while listening to Lana Del Rey. “Can’t have the high without the low,” she croons, perfectly capturing the emotional rollercoaster that this album embodies. And true to her form, in the follow-up track ‘Hey You,’ Blu returns to her confident self, chasing attention from potential suitors with an irresistible bassline.

This restless pacing is the heartbeat of the entire album, exposing the full intensity of Blu’s personality. It reaches its peak with the penultimate track, ‘Dangerous Game,’ a vibrant and infectious song that is destined to dominate the charts in 2024. “You’re so unstable, yeah, so am I,” she sings, refusing to slow down even as the album comes to a close.

    Blu DeTiger – Dangerous Game

As ‘All I Ever Want Is Everything’ draws to an end, you are left with an unexpectedly intimate glimpse into Blu’s world. It’s a groovy and effortlessly cool debut, showcasing her raw talent as a musician. This album is a bold statement, and with Blu’s meteoric rise, she just might attain everything she desires. So, buckle up, turn up the volume, and get ready to jam with the unstoppable force that is Blu DeTiger!
